Mantra 51 – 4th limb of Yoga, Pranayama – Yogis expand the life force through this limb by increasing the prana in the body and the mind. There are four parts of the breath, inhale, retention, exhale and retention. This micro universe is breathing (our body) and the macro universe is breathing as well, such as the ocean, the forest, ect.
Mantra 52 – the reason why we practice pranayama – the delusion covering the inner self will be lifted. When we do pranayama exercises, we calm our mind down and our psychic centers (Chakras) get purified, hence unwanted perceptions of ourselves are also lifted. Thus we can see our true selves.
Mantra 54 – Pratyahara, the 5th limb – turning the senses inward and connecting to astral senses.
Mantra 55 – then followed supreme control over the senses and the astral mind. And a key to sense mastery is “Moderation”.
