Spiritual transformation is not something external. The evolution is internal and comes out as gentle words, empathy, compassion and humility. As discussed in previous sessions, arrogance and misuage of the spiritual gifts would prevent us from moving forward. But when we stay humble and use our gifts in the right way, it becomes stronger and stronger.
Attaining the absolute true consciousness is Rtambhara Prajna. All the I-am-ness or false ego falls away in this state, such as I am a male; I am an American; I am 45 years old, etc. In this state, one becomes a pure spiritual being with spiritual senses. Thus, the primary emotion – pure divine love pours out of the heart. Along with this divine pure love, there is free will. We cannot force anyone to fall in love with us. Same for God – God doesn’t force anyone to fall into with God and we have our free will to do so.
When we become pure spiritual beings with spiritual senses, it means we replace our material senses with spiritual senses. For example, when one decides to be a vegetarian, he/she needs to know how to cook vegetarian food to replace the former diet. We overwrite our material experiences with spiritual experiences to be free from all sense pulling. In another word, we spiritualize all atoms, all elements, all senses and our mind.
Patanjali reminded us that our individual experience with divine god is unique to every single one of us, so books or lectures can only take us this far.
Even the impression of we are divine spiritual beings is falling away, this is the ultimate samadhi – Nirbija Samadhi, where we obtain perfection and act with spiritual senses by serving God and God’s creations. UNCONDITIONAL LOVE will take us here.
