10 October 2024: Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon our arrival in Kathmandu, a representative from Epic Adventures will pick you up from the airport and take you to hotel. In the afternoon, we will have a briefing about your trip with Epic Adventures. We will check all equipment and answer any questions you may have. In the evening there will be a meditation class on the rooftop or yoga rooms. Overnight in Ramada

11 October 2024: Kathmandu Sightseeing

Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, is rich in history, culture, and architecture. A full day of sightseeing in Kathmandu can be a wonderful experience, offering a glimpse into the country’s diverse heritage. 

Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple): Start your day early by visiting

Swayambhunath Stupa, an ancient religious complex atop a hill west of Kathmandu. Enjoy panoramic views of the city and the surrounding valley. The Stupa is also known for its resident monkeys. Kathmandu Durbar Square: Head to Kathmandu Durbar Square, a historic palace complex with numerous temples, courtyards, and the old royal palace. Explore the intricately carved buildings and learn about the history of the Malla and Shah Kings.

 Pashupatinath Temple: Visit Pashupatinath 

It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the holiest Hindu temples in Nepal. Observe the cremation ghats along the Bagmati River and explore the temple complex dedicated to Lord Shiva. Boudhanath Stupa: Head to Boudhanath, one of the largest stupas in Nepal and an important pilgrimage site for Buddhists. Walk around the stupa, spin the prayer wheels, and absorb the spiritual atmosphere. Overnight in Ramada Encore.

12 October 2024: Flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara by Buddha Air

After morning Yoga class and breakfast, we take our flight to Pokhara, which will take approx. 25 min with breathtaking views of the Himalayas. On arrival, we will be escorted to our hotel and spend a leisurely afternoon in the beautiful lakeside town of Pokhara, with an evening meditation class. Overnight at Pokhara Batika

13 October 2024: Drive to Sudame from Pokhara (1.5 hrs) and trek to Ulleri (4 hrs)

Early Morning we do yoga class. After yoga, we will depart Pokhara at around 8:30 by a private car. The road snakes through the scenic countryside for about 1.5 hrs

to the trekking trail head at Nayapul. This is the confluence of Modi River draining Annapurna base camp and Burungdi River. We follow the upstream Burungdi River climbing gradually for about 4 hrs to Thikedunga. Thikedunga is a small, charming village full of lodges where we will spend the night.

14 October 2024: Climb to Ghorepani (6 hrs / 2,800 m)

After breakfast, we will start our day’s walk with a steep climb to Ulleri village. There are about 3,000 stone steps to Ulleri village which will take about 2 hrs to climb. From Ulleri the trail climbs gradually through the forest for another 4 hrs to Ghorepani at 2,800 m. Ghorepani is the mountain pass overlooking the deep KaliGandaki valley wedged between two eight thousand meter peaks of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna 1. Morning Yoga class. Evening Meditation

15 October 2024: Hike to Poon Hill (50 mints / 3,200 m) | Trek to Tadapani Chuile[ 2610 Mt 6hrs]

Poon Hill is the most beautiful view point in the Annapurna region. We will hike for about 50 minutes to Poon Hill at 3,200 m for a sunrise view over the Himalayan peaks. One can see about 15 different peaks including Dhaulagiri I (8,167m / 7th highest), Annapurna I (8,091m / 10th highest) and Manaslu (8,156 m / 8th highest). After breakfast, we will head for our next destination of Tadapani. The trail passes through the rhododendron forest with a few ups and downs of 400 m. Yoga in Poon hill just in front of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna range.

16 October 2024: Trek back to Jhinu Danda (5 hrs / 1,600 m) [Natural Hot spring]

Morning Yoga class in lap of mountain after breakfast trek to Jhinu Dada. Bathe in natural hot spring. We follow the same trail that we took to climb up till Chhomrong. Climb down steely on the stone steps to the village of Jhinu. We settle into our lodge and then head down half an hour to a natural hot spring pool on the Shore of Modi River. Enjoy the natural hot spring and enjoy your activities.

17 October 2024: Jhinu to Pokhara – trek 4-5 hours approx

Early morning Yoga class and breakfast before heading down to Modikhala River, we will reach the bridge. You will have photo opportunities of the waterfalls and valleys, green hills and mountains. The most magnificent scenery of the Annapurna South and Himchuli. We will trek to Naya pool. Which is a beautiful village with more amazing views. Having Lunch after driving back to pokhara. Overnight at Pokhara Batika

18 October 2024: Explore Pokhara

Boating Shopping and free day in Pokhara. Overnight at Pokhara Batika.

19 October 2024: Pokhara to Kathmandu by Flight by Buddha Air

Morning yoga class with view of Annapurna Himalayan range before goodbye to Pokhara. Fly back to Kathmandu 25 minutes.Transfer to hotel. Overnight at Hyatt Regency

20 October 2024: Farewell

We are saying goodbye to the mountains as your journey in Nepal comes to an end today! There is nothing to do but trade emails with travel companions and organize the photos. If you have more time, you can do some shopping or sightseeing. Approximately 3 hours before the scheduled flight, a representative from Epic Adventures will take you to the airport. On your way home, you will have plenty of time to plan your next adventure in the wonderful country of Nepal.
