About the Practice

The maintenance of a clean and healthy body is important for spiritual practice. With a cleansed body, the mind becomes peaceful and clear, the body becomes limber and light.

In a guided practice of classical cleansing kriyas, we will wash the eyes, nose, ears, esophagus and colon in the way of the ancient yogis in a beautiful an environment of laughter and fun, lifting our energy, boosting our immune systems, and bringing back a natural sense of clarity and inspiration.

This practice is open to everyone, from seasoned yogis to those completely new to yoga. A fair range of motion is however required to effectively perform the washing of the colon section, Shankaprakshalana. Review the links on the right for more details.
